Our Story
Founded in 1993 by Syd Fryer and his two business partners, Oakridge Golf Club was created with the vision of offering an enjoyable and welcoming golfing experience for players of all abilities.
Built on former farmland, the club has grown into a well-established family-run destination for golfers from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Coventry and across Warwickshire. Over the past 30 years, Oakridge has continued to evolve as both a golf and hospitality venue, while remaining true to the friendly and approachable atmosphere it was founded on.
Following Syd’s passing in 2022, his daughter Shane has continued to lead the club with the same values and commitment that have shaped Oakridge since the beginning. Members and visitors alike often comment on the personal and flexible approach that sets the club apart from more traditional venues.

Pro Shop
Our Pro Shop, golf store is led by PGA professional Tom Matts, offering expert advice alongside a wide range of equipment from leading golf brands.
From beginner sets to custom-fitted clubs, we cater to men, women and junior golfers of all abilities.
We also offer free custom fitting using advanced GC2 simulator technology, helping you improve performance with precision-fitted golf clubs.
Clubhouse
Relax, dine and connect. The clubhouse is the social hub of the club. Open to members, visitors and the local community, it features a bar, restaurant and versatile function rooms for private and corporate hire.
Whether you’re meeting friends, dining or hosting an event, our welcoming clubhouse offers the perfect setting with facilities available to hire year round.
Function Suite
Our flexible event spaces are ideal for all your events. Providing the perfect suite for weddings, parties, corporate events and society days, with quick transport links from Nuneaton, Coventry, Bedford and the surrounding areas of Warwickshire. Our main suite accommodates up to 160 guests seated or 200 buffet-style, while a second suite is ideal for smaller meetings and private events of up to 30 people.
Available to hire year round, our flexible event spaces are supported by an experienced team.
